The Natural Law Party of Michigan was formed in 1992 and was affiliated with the Natural Law Party, USA. The party was based largely on the theory of Transcendental Meditation (TM).
Due to the folding of the national party in 2004, most state parties would eventually follow suit, except the Natural Law Party of Michigan. We have managed to maintain our ballot status and have moved away from the original national platform. Over the years, we have nominated and granted ballot access to candidates with various ideals, from Socialists to Libertarians ... Progressives to Moderates to Ultra Conservatives. We have truly become Michigan's independent choice on the ballot each election cycle.
As we move forward, it is our goal to maintain our ballot status in order to provide voters in Michigan with an alternative choice on election day.
